Academy Facilities

TOURAcademy is located privately at the opposite end of Tiburón's main practice range. Outside of our world-class teaching facility, our students have access to Tiburón Golf Club which has two championship Greg Norman designed golf courses. The Black course and Gold course--the Gold Course is home to the nationally televised PGA TOUR Franklin Templeton Shootout tournament. Both of the golf courses are consistently ranked near the top of every “Must Play” list. Tiburón Golf Club also has The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, which overlooks the beautiful golf course. Tiburón Golf Club's facilities and The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, have been rated by Golf Digest as the number one Florida golf resort.

The Academy offers two indoor video rooms and two video locations outdoors under cover. The Academy is grass only, with a complete short game practice area which includes a putting green, chipping green and sand bunker. The fitting center has been noted for having "tour style" equipment. PGA TOUR Academy offers state-of-the-art launch monitor ball flight analysis. All of our launch monitor sessions are conducted on the lesson tee to ensure the student and instructor are able to view the full flight of the golf ball.

Science and Motion Academy - SAM Putt Lab
The SAM PUTT Lab is new to the Academy and is an extremely popular addition to our already impressive facilities. This computerized system takes all of the guesswork out of the putting stroke and simply provides the instructor and student with clear and concise reports instantly after each putting stroke. Every instructor at the Academy recommends this equipment for any golfer that is serious about improving their putting.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to have a comprehensive putting analysis or putter fitting using the SAM Putt Lab. With 41% of golf being the short game, it makes sense to ensure your technique and equipment are giving you the best chance to lower scores. Full Swing Video Analysis
Another distinct quality of this technologically advanced facility is the use of full swing video analysis. Using strategically placed cameras for the full swing instructional sessions, the student's swing is videotaped. Your instructor then reviews your swing mechanics by analyzing the video, frame by frame, on a large monitor. Students benefit not only from the instruction of full swing fundamentals and mechanics, but also from video narrative.

At the conclusion of each full swing session, students have the opportunity to implement suggested improvements. Instructors review the changes and reinforce the proper techniques. Students are presented with their personal swing analysis video and narrative to ensure they continue the learning process on the practice range and golf course.
